“Cancer treatment is always under rapid development and mainly includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy with limited success and a lot of adverse side-effects. When the tumor grows to a certain size, the peripheral blood supply becomes insufficient due to abnormal vascular structure, resulting in hypoxia and acidic pH value of the local tissue with performance of gene affected. However, cancer cells are particularly sensitive to temperature if compared to normal cells. When the ambient temperature reaches 40 - 43 °C, protein of the tumor cells will mutate leading to blockage of communication paths within the cells. Subsequently, tumor cells will loose its capability to proliferate. Cell apoptosis is thereby introduced preventing future recurrence and metastasis of tumor.
